Bought this book for my 9-year old who enjoyed the story of Zoya and Bucker on board the Dragonfly. Interesting world with lots of exciting action bits. Nice to see my boy reading – it’s a rare thing amongst other distractions of i-devices and games!

It’s impossible not to enjoy Sky Thieves. The way it draws you in with Zoya, and then the sky thieves. I loved Beebee, and his bird. And I loved grumpy Cid. Really good. Couldn’t put it down.

This is a whirlwind of a tale; of fights, raids, islands in the sky, treasure, evil pirates (yes, it seems there are some GOOD pirates out there as well as those good old-fashioned bad characters), friendship, bravery and family… This is a remarkable, brilliant and rather fantastic piece of piratical adventure that anyone with a spark of life should enjoy - a traditional adventure with a twist - superb. This is an exciting adventure with fleshed out characters, epic battles and dynamic relationships. I read it in one sitting, and will definitely re read it in the future.
