I think that King's stories often get overlooked for his more famous novels, but he has written some fantastic short stories. This is one of the best collections, the stories are mostly horror and/or thrillers but there are some straight-forward dramatic stories too. 'The Mist', 'The Raft' and 'The Reach' are particular stand-outs. I would recommend this to fans of short-stories, fans of horror and fans of dramatic fiction.
