This is a classic mystery set in an outrageous version of New York City's fashion and modeling world. Like the movie Blade Runner, but with more humor and beauty. The writing is very sharp and highly emotional at the same time. It's the beginning of a series and I look forward to reading the second one when it's out.

If you like your books full of jetblack humour and peopled with weird over the top characters then this is a book for you. Fortunately I do enjoy these kind of books, but I have to admit I did find it tedious at times and definitely too long which is a shame as it had some good points to make.
