This book is a magical adventure of a young silverwing bat called Shade, and his marvellous journey to recollonise with his family after a storm rips him away from them. Shade then lands on an island and meets the lovely Marina, a cast-out brightwing bat. I would reccoment this to EVERYONE! Kenneth Oppel's writing is as vivid as his imagination - Truly spectacular! The whole saga is an amazing ride in your thoughts.
