The 2nd book I've read in the Sharpe series, full of action like the first, and a really enjoyable read! There never seems to be a dull moment in Sharpe's triumph, its action packed, fast paced and full of violence! Cornwell's characters are fantastic, Obadiah Hakeswill and William Dodd in particular, and the descriptions of batte make you feel like you're there! Overall, a fantastic read and I'm looking forward to buying the next book in the series!
