“Fitting end to a great Sharpe series”
(Paperback)
by Baron Bailey
As most Sharpe novels go, this follows the trend for being well written and showing historical accuracy. The great thing about this book is the change of setting and how a story has been created, and can remain gripping, after the napoleonic wars have ended; of which most of the books are set. For Sharpe book lovers, it has a classic sense of nostalgia about it and it is easy to follow for new readers. Overall a pleasurable read that holds your interest.
