“All the Stars!”
(Paperback)
by Kat Ovtn
Lynette Noni has put me in an impossible situation! How am I supposed to review this when there is literally NOTHING I can say that will not spoil it for the readers. AND. I. WOULD. NEVER. This book is a ride and I envy you for not having read it yet! Noni does so many things right, she is an absolute master storyteller (which we knew already, but if this is the first book you pick up, make sure you line up Prison Healer straight away!). The writing flows like a whimsical stream in that it's smooth, effortless and keeps a GREAT, CONSISTENT PACE. The worldbuilding is satisfying yet not overwhelming, still achieving this otherworldliness we crave from fantasy. The characters are fully fleshed, distinct, memorable and I was fully invested! The chemistry between Viri and Reeve was 10/10! I actually don't mind a FMC not being my favourite thing about the book, as long as the MMC makes up for it and oh my, Reeve stole my heart and ran away with it! He is utter perfection! Great found family and so many plot twists, wow, just amazing! One thing that stand out for me is that even though it's YA, it doesn't feel like anything is sacrificed to fit the mold, there is so much respect for the audience, it deems it irrelevant and I applaud that, for me it's the ultimate testament to Noni's writing skills. I have SO MUCH I would love to comment on, but the takeaway is: RUN, don't walk. this book is brilliant and you should absolutely experience it for yourself if the premise sounds like something you would be interested in. Thank you to Lynette Noni, Penguin Random House UK Children's | Penguin and NetGalley for my review copy, all opinions are my own.

I'm a new reader to Lynette Noni, but the cover and blurb drew me in, and when Netgalley kindly offered me an ARC in exchange for an honest review, I was NOT disappointed! Great story, well-paced, Viri is fabulous and I'm a little in love with our MMC. I have now pre-ordered as I definitely need a physical copy of this one. Highly recommend.

“Top Tier Romantasy”
(Paperback)
by Lauren Shortle
This book did not disappoint. The world building, the characters were chefs kiss, I was kicking my feet, I was sobbing and the ending had me shocked in pure Lynette Noni fashion. This book was superb, it has found family which I absolutely adore. The world building was easy to understand and it had me hooked, line and sinker! It’s Lynette Noni’s best work yet.

“Brilliant!”

Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Random House for providing me with an ARC of The Shadow Reaper in exchange for an honest review. This was an absolutely phenomenal read and an easy five stars from me. Lynette Noni has crafted a story that is both thrilling and immersive, filled with mystery, adventure, and unforgettable characters. From the very first page, I was completely drawn into the world, and I found it incredibly difficult to put down. The setting was beautifully imagined—particularly the magical forest, which felt both enchanting and eerie, adding a rich atmosphere to the story. The magic system and alchemy elements were fascinating and well-developed, bringing a unique depth to the narrative. I also loved the inclusion of excerpts from a book woven throughout the story, gradually revealing pieces of the past in such a compelling way.The characters truly stood out, especially Viri, who felt incredibly real and relatable. Even the side characters were well-crafted and memorable, adding further strength to an already engaging story. The pacing was excellent, with constant twists, turns, and cliffhangers that kept me hooked from beginning to end. And that final revelation—completely shocking and perfectly executed.I genuinely have no criticisms. This was a captivating, fast-paced, and beautifully written story that I devoured in no time. Lynette Noni has quickly become one of my favourite authors, and I am eagerly anticipating the next installment.I would highly recommend this book to fans of fantasy, particularly those who enjoy rich world-building, compelling characters, and stories filled with mystery and magic.

“Great!”

Thank you very much for the arc! I have to admit, this is the first book by Noni that I read, and it did NOT disappoint. The way the world is structured is very interesting, the plot is unraveling in a very particular way, and in many cases I did not see it coming; that automatically guarantees a reread, and most definitely checking out their other books! You get invested in the characters, get cute overload from Walnut, and I can easily see it becoming the flavour of the month.
