This is a very well written book. It beggars belief they were so naive in taking on this journey. Shackleton was totally obsessed - baring nothing, his family, the safety of the crew and animals. I learnt so much from reading this account. It is not a book I would normally chose but I was intrigued - I am so glad I did.
