If anyone’s a mom or have been bringing up children with a husband/father that works long hours, you may relate to this! It’s hard work raising children and it’s constant. It’s rewarding too of course! But fretting, Childrens tantrums arguments and constant demands can get a mom pulling her hair out and wanting to run away. For most, they don’t leave though! And they love and adore their kids desperately despite all of this. But this mom hasn’t been truthful. She harbours secrets from her past that domino affects on herself as a parent, as a person, as a human being and most definitely as a woman. She needs to return to where she was raised. I did enjoy this book and in some parts I can relate when my children were young. However, I don’t think I have any disturbing secrets! If you like books based around secrets, family life and anything I’ve mentioned in my review then I’d say, yep pick it up.
