I made a large order for UK versions of PD's books (so I will be repeating my complaints on a few different books). This was the final book in my order that I received in a damaged state. I reside in the U.S. and you can imagine that it's a different process for me to purchase books out of my country. I was really surprised with the poor condition this book was mailed to me in. The shipping box was intact, so you could tell it was how this book had been handled and stored that caused the damages. I provided proof of the damaged books but, I was let down by the representative's response. I have made previous orders and this was the first time I received books that were in such a bad state. I will continue to make purchases on Waterstones website, but I did want to bring light to this matter in hopes that it gets noticed and not repeated with any other books or for any other buyer.
