This was recommended on Richard and Judy's book club, which is something I usually avoid but It caught my eye whilst out shopping and as I had no other book on the go I thought I would give it a go. I was glad I did. Simon Kernick writes with pace and feeling and it kept me wanting to read page after page. The twists and turns kept you guessing who were the good guys in all of it. I was up till pass 2.00 in the moring as I could not put it down.I am now on the look out for other books written by him and hope that they are as good as this one.

I have never in my life chosen a book based solely on the blurb - until now. And I don't regret it. This is incredibly fast-paced and full of action and excitement. Not a book I would usually choose, but I'm keen to read the next one.

This as a truly great read, I simply couldn't put the book down! This wa the first time I have read a book by Simon Kernck and I will be reading more. It's such a fascinating crime thriller and I'd highly recommend it to anyone!

a true crime thriller from the word go and yes this book is relentless, so much so that I did not want to put it down. The plot just twists and turns, I recommend this book.
