A fun take on portal fantasy for the technological age, with a technological second world rather than the usual generic medieval aesthetics. The nursery rhyme plot device was ingenious and fun, even for an older reader! The characters were interesting, engaging to listen to, and played off each other well. Definitely a good pick for kids just beginning to read 9-12 fiction!
