I came across John McAvoy at my son’s Duke of Edinburgh presentation, he was the guest speaker who spoke briefly of his wrong life choices and how he was able to turn this around. I was inspired and purchased his book, Redemption from iron bars to Ironman. Wow this book was incredible, I could not put this down. I was blown away by his outstanding willpower and his determination to succeed. John comes across as a genuine character, very charismatic and and a real ambitious gentleman. A truly inspirational read, a must read.
