I am really pleased that Aga is working on her second book. This edge-of-your seat is about Anna Wright who has a powerful job as Head of On-Air, programming for a creative major TV Company. But that is it professionally. And then there is her personal life. She has just ended her relationship with James. Strange things start to take over Anna when she meets a stranger while out jogging on the Heath. Anna Wright is not a bad person but maybe she did do a bad thing. Her Neighbour Tom seems to be taking an interest in Anna and her loveable dog. It's Frightening Anna has quite a few men that appear in Anna's perfect life. But things take a terrible turn for Anna Wright bringing her many bad things to happen to upset her perfect life.

So just catching up with book 1 after having already read book 2...oops! Really enjoyed book 2 and found it a rather unique read. Book 1 was not so unique but still an excellent page turner of a thriller! Recommend them both.

It isn't long before Anna imitates the rendezvous she observed, swept up in a frantic relationship with a man she has only seen and never spoken to. When news later emerges of a rape on the heath, Anna is left to question whether the man she met is all she imagines he was. Rebound is the debut novel from a very promising write; Aga Lesiewicz. It is a brilliant psychological thriller that is not for the faint-hearted! Not only is there a man cloaked in mystery on the vast expanse of Hampstead Heath, but there is the neighbour who seems to be taking too much of an interest in Anna, and the paranoia that builds with gifts of flowers and vandalism. When the count of sexual assaults, and, eventually, murders, grows, Anna finds herself caught up in a dramatic storyline that will leave you guessing until the very last moment. It is tense, not to be guessed, and well worth reading - but maybe with the lights on!
