This is a must read for everyone. I was watching the adaptation when I bought my copy with the intention of cheating to find out what happens at the end but due to a build up of other books to read that never happened. Its stunning and I recommend it most highly.

By far my favourite book. Tess is a book that will stay with you long after reading. The character of Tess is In my view one of the literary greats. A sad but thought provoking novel, I would recommend to anyone.
