Puddling is a gently nostalgic reminder of finding fun in the simpler things in life. The simplicity of the illustrations is a perfect match for the author. Puts me in mind of Shirley Hughes and is sure to be a classic. So nice to find a story that exists purely to celebrate child-centred experience in this way.
