I really enjoyed my first book by Curtis Sittenfeld. I found the story easy to follow. I recommend this book to readers.

I love the writing style of this author- having read American Wife i bought this straight away and enjoyed it even more so than the first novel.

i first grabbed this book quickly in a rush to have something to read, but i absolutley LOVE it! Lee Fiora the main character is so honest and i almost feel embarrassment for her myself, and i love the way the book is so american. at the end it seemed even more grown up and i liked that as for most of the book there wasnt much happening. i recommmend this so 14-16year old girls, its a great read!

I bought this one as it was likened to a dark Donna Tart novel. It was little of the sort. It was a teenage novel, covering teenage concerns. It was entertaining enough but not worthy of high praise as it was fairly superficial really with little of the darkness promised.

disappointment should be the name of the book because thats all you find in this book. im sorry normally i would praise a book even if it was awful but this book lacks everything a good book is about. reading this book you wait, and wait for something good to happen and then once it did it was like a page and it was over. nothing was gripping and i had no connection to the book. unfortunly i think this book is not good and anyone looking for excitment should not read it.
