“30 years of newborn experience in just over 100 information packed pages”
(Paperback)
Fantastic insight into all aspects of newborn parenting. It covers the babies needs and the mothers needs; the family and support in the wider community. Covering breastfeeding, feeding times and how to deal with colic and reflux, should it occur. Covering sleep patterns and the babies best sleep positioning to ensure a satisfying nights sleep for all. With some real life contributions from mothers and lovely photographs it is a great book to have. Jacqui's wealth of experience shines through on all topics and especially in the areas of baby behaviour and psychology where this insight can give parents a deeper understanding of what their baby is communicating to them.
“Definitely worth a read!”
(Paperback)
Jax is an expert on babies and has so much experience. I wish I had read this before having my children!
“Reassuring and Refreshing for First-Time Parents”
(Paperback)
As someone planning to have my first baby, Postnatal Surprises was such a comforting read. I had no idea that babies came so naturally “programmed,” and the way Jacqui explains the stages of newborn adjustment made it all feel manageable — even exciting.
The tone is warm, honest, and funny in all the right places. I feel so much more confident now, and I’ll definitely be keeping this book close once the time comes.
