I really like the Alex Rider series I just hope the other books are good also and I cannot wait to find out

Series review. I enjoyed this series when it started. It's a good, action packed set of stories aimed firmly at the bond market. The stories are exciting, well written and with a good central character in alex. I did find myself drifting away from Horowitz after awhile but the books I read were generally good. Horowitz is a good writer and storyteller and the alex rider books were great. My one quibble is the time period they take place in. The books I read were set in a single year which seemed a bit hard to swallow. Apart from that this is an entertaining series.

The point blanc book left me quite literally on the side of my bed, whilst reading i found that it gave the atmosphere of a horror film. For weeks on end i was staring at my door to see if a clone of myself would come bursting in and try to kill me!!! I recommend this like i have with skeleton key to any fan of great modern fiction.
