My class of 4 - 6 year olds and I enjoyed this book during a circle time session. The children laughed at Pog's angry face and could identify with some of the things he did that were naughty. It lead on to us discussing how when you were in a bad mood you might miss out on things that were enjoyable. The rhyming aspect of the book is very clever and inventive, the children asked for word meanings if they didn't understand. I felt this book was very useful as well as just to enjoy, my class have asked for me to read it to them again.
