Waterstones managed to get hold of this book which was sold out in many stores and get this to me in a couple of days. Swift and speedy and one happy customer. Great job as always Waterstones.

This review can be divided into the two sections that I did like and didn't like. I liked: Persons and Free will and determinism. Lacewing writes relatively well in these topics with sufficient detail and illustrations, although you still have to read them slowly and more than once to understand them. I didn't like: Epistemology and Knowledge of the external world. Lacewing, like the AQA book does not do a very good job at teaching these topics: way too complicated for students and will only confuse them. I would recommend this book if you are doing the two topics that I mentioned I liked. (If you are wondering why I reviewed Lacewing's books late, it is because I simply forgot to do so before and an AS student has reminded about this site).
