I've become a bit obsessed with this - it's the perfect blend of co-operative strategy and the chaos of a shuffled deck. You have a map of connected cities - the infections spread with each turn and you have 4 actions per turn to change the tides of the virus, cure them all and win the game. I heard someone else say they have more fun losing this game than they do when winning many others - I completely agree! It's also a great 2 player game, which isn't always easy to find. PS - If the thought of it being about a Pandemic puts you off, don't worry, it's not gruesome or biological in any way. It could be about anything, the pandemic/viruses themselves aren't named or referred to in any real way - it could just as easily be about anything.

Myself and my partner love board games, and wanted a new one that would keep us entertained for a while. We have found that a lot of games are only fun for the short amount of time that they last so can get a little boring. Once you have your head around the rules of this game it is great! We have only played as 2 player but have really enjoyed it, nice to play something that is collaborative for a change! If you're looking for an interesting board game that you can play multiple time I would highly recommend this game.

I heard about this game on Radio 4, the contributor said we would like it. All the reviews were good. And they were right. Family love it. It is collaborative which helps, but also interesting. The downside is that it reveals the abysmal geography of family (kids 10, 14, 16) when we got the game.

Really great game, working together to win. It takes thinking and strategy to beat the viruses. Proved a hit with everyone and we've played it several times already.
