“Fantastic Summer Read”
(Paperback)
by Sara Scott
I should start by declaring that I generally enjoy books written from more than one character perspective so this one was right up my street before we began. I loved the cover, bright and fun. The writing was light but engaging and the characters were well described and not too twee. It will never win the Booker prize but it isn’t trying to! The author gives us a fun little tour through Nadia and Daniel’s eyes with witty and entertaining encounters and lots of will they won’t they. The friends and colleagues are well described and work well within the plot. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a bit of escapism and wants something fun to chill out with. I look forward to reading other books by Laura Jane Williams.
“What if?”
(Paperback)
by Alex at Horsham
We are all guilty of wondering 'what if?' How different would our lives me if one thing hadn't gone a certain way? This book looks to explore the possibility of not meeting the perfect person for you. Written by an author whose other work I absolutely adored, I am very interested in reading this next piece of her work. The cover looks inviting and intriguing. This looks like the kind of book where I can imagine it being made into a film whilst I read it. Who would play the dashing male lead? Who would play our wonderful leading lady? A modern twist on a classic love story which has had amazing reviews from all who have read it so far. A heartbreaking love story which will have you gripped from page 1.
“Wow!”

Ever since reading One Day in December I've struggled to find a romance that is as good but my goodness I've found it now. I shall be recommending this very highly. A romance with friendship, feminism and kindness at it's heart ticks all my boxes.

“If you liked The Flatshare then you will LOVE Our Stop”
(Paperback)
by Sarah Kane
I enjoyed this book immensely. Alas I made the huge mistake of starting it before bedtime. I could not put it down! I kept on saying just one more chapter. Or they have to meet in this chapter, don't they? I'll just keep going. Then next I knew it was 1am and I had finished the book. The build up in this book was just absolutely perfect. It kept me turning the pages and completely immersed in the lives of Nadia and Daniel. This is the perfect summer read. I would definitely recommend picking this up when it is published in August.
