The plot is so well writen, there is no signs of it pointingto the person who really did it. Its such a jaw dropping, heart-felt book id recomend it to anyone that is new to reading.

“Cleverly crafted psychological thriller”
(Paperback)
This is one of my favourite Freida McFadden thrillers to date. It's cleverly crafted with lots of clues left tantalisingly for the reader to work out what's going on, because not everything is as it seems. It's a fast paced read, and I really enjoyed it.
“Such a well put together thriller!”
(Paperback)
Such a good and easy read. Read in two days and was so eager to finish and the ending makes sense and fits so well despite it being such a shock. The book follows Tricia and Ethan who begin viewing a house for their new family which turned out to be Dr Adrienne Hales house which hasn’t been put up for sale since her unsolved murder. Tricia finds different patient records of sessions she did as a psychiatrist which she listened to while visiting the house which was the start of an amazing story. Such a good thriller. Freida mcfadden remains one of my favourite authors ever with her amazing abilities to write such a well put together and shocking book.
“Amazing!”
(Paperback)
Absolutely loved this book, keeps you guessing. Couldn’t put it down, I wanted to find out what happened. Who done it? And why? And I was amazed at the plot twist. Definitely recommend giving it a read.
“A fun, murderous palate cleanser”
(Paperback)
After a quick, whirlwind romance and straight into marriage, newly weds Tricia and Ethan begin the hunt for their forever home. After agreeing to meet their real estate agent, who doesn’t show up, at a remote manor house they are stranded when a snowstorm arrives. The only option is to take refuge in the house. The house however once belonged to a renowned psychiatrist and author who went missing years before. When Tricia finds a secret room full of audio tapes of the doctor’s therapy sessions she has nothing better to do than sit and listen and maybe piece together what happened to her...
Yet another super quick and fun thriller from Freida McFadden. As always it is super compulsive reading, best consumed in a day. I did think this one felt maybe slightly more dramatic than her other works and the extent of how far someone is willing to go to cover up the smallest of crimes felt probably a bit fantastical but I don’t see anywhere that this book isn’t in-part a fantasy novel? If you want a quick, fun and murderous palate cleanser then this is for you.
