Tim Ecott's memoir about his adventures deep sea diving is a fascinating piece of reportage packed full of detail and nail biting moments, from encounters with sharks to problems with breathing equipment. Ecott's enthusiasm is infectious and may even have a few non-swimmers heading for the swimming pool. Plenty of detail doesn't leave the novice in the dark either. Interesting.
