Gripping stuff, i couldn't put it down, only long enough to write this review, very good stuff, id recommend this to anyone.

Very powerful (in every sense) book, I have really enjoyed the power of 5 series. Now all we need is the finale...

Series review. This horror series coincided with my interest in Horowitz fading. The first four books are good but by the time the fifth came out I was struggling to read his books. (I stopped reading him, only returning for his two bond books.) As a series these were intriguing with a good overall story. The beats of each book did feel very similar but they were good. The characters were good and the writing was still up to his usual standards. Be advised these are horror based so younger fans beware. I know others who read this series and loved it. One day I may return to it and see if I can enjoy it more as overall it was decent and it was more my personal taste that changed.
