Reviews: Nation (10)
“Very entertaining.”
(Paperback)
A beautifully written and heartwarming story from the author so well known for his discworld series. Reads like an old childrens classic such as Robinson Crusoe or Treasure Island with a strong scent of Neil Gaiman (In fact I had to keep reminding myself this was Pratchett and not Gaiman, this is compliment to both authors.)
I thoroughly enjoyed how Mau and Daphne (or the Trouserman woman) build up their relationship throughout the story despite their language barrier and social backgrounds. I love the discworld series but this had a different feel to it, it was a piece of literature with real heart and soul that engrossed me throughout and of course many laughs as you would expect.

You have to read this book! Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise. Terry Pratchett is truly one of the best authors in the world, this is just another of his great stories. Fantastic!
