Murder by Magic is the latest in the Libby Sarjeant mysteries and continues in the same fine form as its predecessors. I think you need to suspend belief in particular when reading about Libby's dealings with the police, but as the author says in her acknowledgements - 'sorry to all British Police Forces for taking such liberties.' I have read this series of books in order, which I would recommend as, although each story stands on its own, the lives of the characters follow on from book to book. For anyone reading this book first, the who's who at the front of the book is, I would think, very helpful. All in all a very good read.
