Reviews: Mort (11)
“A good start to the death series”
(Paperback)
This is funny it goes into detail who is mort and why Susan is related to death as the series goes on!
“Pratchett delights again!”
(Paperback)
What can be said about Pratchett that hasn't already been said? As always, his stories are vivid, deeply funny, and highly enjoyable. 'Mort' can be read even if you have never read 'Discworld' before, and -if you haven't- you're in for a treat. As if often the case with Pratchett, he takes a concept like the grim reaper and delivers a deep, engaging, funny novel that you won't want to put down. The characters are a delight, the story is phenomenal, and the humour is very Pratchett and very funny. Can't recommend this book enough; a wonderful read that will delight you from beginning to end.
“READ THIS BOOK”
(Paperback)
This was the first book I read in the Discworld series, when I was about 15, and I loved it then and revisiting it 20 years later, it still rates as one of my favourite books of all times. It's funny, clever and warm, with many layers to the humour. I love it!
“Hilarious !”
(Paperback)
Very funny top-notch Pratchett. Must admit I found it difficult to follow what was happening in the last 100 pages - but who cares - it still made me laugh-out-loud.
