“Heartwarming Recipes with Love!”
(Hardback)
This is so much more than just a cookbook, you know you are holding something special from the moment you pick it up. The stunning cover reflects the warmth and richness of the food and the heartfelt stories within. It begins beautifully, with a reflection on the importance of flavour, and you can feel Asma’s passion in every word. She shares personal stories, tips, and traditions with such warmth, it feels as though she is right there beside you in the kitchen, guiding you through each step. The photography is simply stunning, so vivid you can almost smell the spices and hear the sizzle of the pans. This is a joy to read and a book to truly cherish. It’s a celebration of heritage, love, and the comfort of a home-cooked meal. This book has certainly inspired me and it’s a beautiful addition to my kitchen shelf. It’s been a joy to try so many different recipes and to share the results with family and friends.
“Lovely cookbook”
(Hardback)
This is a gorgeous cookbook full of tasty Indian recipes. Alongside the many Indian recipes, there are lovely photographs and suggestions of which dishes to serve with what. In addition to the savoury dishes, there are also recipes for sweet foods and drinks. Our favourite dish so far is the Narangi Salad - it goes perfectly with many of the other foods and is great as a salad on its own for a smaller meal. Thanks to this cookbook and its easy to follow recipes, we can add Indian food to our midweek repertoire.
“More than a recipe book!”
(Hardback)
It's not just recipes in Monsoon but a lesson about flavours and balancing taste. It's a journey through the seasons with dishes to compliment the weather and your mood. A lot of care has been put into Monsoon and I've enjoyed reading the story behind each recipe. I've made a few dishes and teas from the book so far and everything has been lovely.
