“Stunning book and recipes”
(Hardback)
This book is so beautiful - a perfect addition to the shelf however this book won’t stay on the shelf as it’ll constantly be taken down to create one of the delicious recipes inside. They’re easy to make with comprehensive instructions. Everything we’ve made so far has been absolutely scrumptious, I can’t wait to taste some more.
“Delicious recipes that are easy to follow”
(Hardback)
Monsoon by Asma Khan is a fantastic cooking book. Easy to follow recipe's, ingredient's I already have in the cupboard, amazing flavours and something for everyone.
I tried my hand at the Gobi Manchurian. I used a bit too much chilli for mine and it looked nowhere near as good as Asma Khans, but it was a good first attempt and we all loved it. The depth of flavours and level of spice was perfect for us. A really simple but exciting & flavourful recipe for me.
I can't wait to try the rest of the recipes. Its Indian food that takes you on a journey through India. The recipes are perfect for any occasion and any guest. Yum Yum Yum.

There’s a wide range of recipes to suit every taste, and they’re simple to adjust depending on your preferences. Whether you’re looking for something comforting or fresh and vibrant, you’ll find plenty of options to explore.
The book is also beautifully presented, with stunning photographs that instantly transport you to the heart of Asia. It’s not just a cookbook, but a celebration of culture, tradition and the joy of sharing food. Highly recommended.
“Brilliant cookbook, easy to follow, full of flavour”
(Hardback)
I really love this cookbook. The recipes are split into seasons so it's easy to find a recipe to suit the current weather. The ingredients are all ready to find and the recipes are easy to follow. The meals I have made so far have been full of flavour. I'm really impressed and can definitely recommend.
“More than a cookbook”
(Hardback)
I was gifted this cookbook and it has been really lovely to get to know.
I really appreciated the introduction to all the different ingredients used in the book, and the thought processes behind them.
Dishes that previously I would have been too intimidated to try, felt far more accessible given the gentle and nurturing guidance of the author Asma Khan. The recipes didn't feel rushed, I felt I could take my time and personalise them without offence.
So far my favourite has been the First Class Railway Curry, closely followed by the Chai Tea.
My kitchen always smells wonderful when I attempted a recipe from this book and I've enjoyed the detail linking the meals to the different seasons; the entire adventure has felt very authentic.
