“So many great dishes to make and enjoy”
(Hardback)
There are so many great recipes to make and enjoy ranging from starters right through to desserts and drinks.
Our favourites have to be the Paneer Tikka skewers (which we also made with chicken) and we enjoyed them with a side of Chotpoti, they are dishes suitable for the whole family and our son has asked to make them again.
“Beautiful and deliciously creative”

Monsoon is a fabulous celebration of Indian food. It's not just a cookbook. It inspires, informs, and tells a story.
One of my favourite comments Asma made was: "Cooking is like composing music. Once you've mastered the basics, the artistry comes from trusting your instincts and allowing yourself to create freely." That really resonated with me, as much of the book does.
As a vegetarian it is important that there are lots of options and variety and this book has exactly that!
This book is beautiful, and Asma includes so many personal notes throughout, it really feels like she is talking to you.
“A stunning and inspiring cookbook”

Monsoon by Asma Khan is an absolute gem. I’ve already made two recipes—the watermelon curry and the fish pakoras—and both turned out beautifully. The flavours are bold but balanced, and the watermelon curry in particular was such a refreshing and unusual dish. I love how this book offers something different while still being really accessible.
What I also really appreciated is how well written and engaging the book is—it’s a joy to read, not just to cook from. Asma’s stories add real warmth and depth to the recipes. And the artwork and design of the book are absolutely gorgeous. It’s the kind of cookbook you actually want to sit down and read.
One of the best cookbooks I’ve picked up in a while.
