I recently re-discovered this book I remember from childhood and in reading it as an adult found even more. A great book for all the family it raises questions about the way we live that everyone should consider from time to time. The characters both central and peripheral are amazingly well written and human (even those that aren't). Nothing more really needs to be said other than read this book - you won't be disappointed.
