“I LOVE this!!! It's INCREDIBLE!!!”

Ooooooh... the trilogy has ended. But I do have to say that this was the best trlogy that I've EVER read. I wish that Suzanne Collins would write a fourth book. I don't know what I'm going to do without it. Sigh. I suppose that I'll just have to watch the films now. Hopefully they give Suzanne Collins credit.

“top series”

Having read all three (a must) I am left feeling empty as I have come to realise I've finished a great series of books that always left me wanting more. The characters across the 3 books grow and some die. No one is safe in the hunger games which is why I enjoy it so much. Twists in films ad books are now expected by the reader and viewer and this trilogy doesn't disappoint in this regard. I am satisfied by how this last book ended and i actually shouted a dramatic yet in no way insane (lol) Nooooooo after I read the very last sentence and I realised id finish it. I highly recommend this book and the entire series to YA and Adults alike. Enjoy!
“A trilogy most definitely worth a read”

Having read the first two books of the Hunger Games trilogy I found myself a little obsessed and incredibly excited to read the final book... I thoroughly enjoyed this book and could not put it down from the minute I started reading it. The book itself is incredibly thought provoking and left me pondering and imagining even after I had finished reading. Having said that there were a few things of which left me feeling as though there were still loose ends that Suzanne Collins hadn't quite cleared up. I have loved both Gale and Peeta and the character defining developments they have made throughout the series but It seemed as though Gale was somewhat forgotten towards the ending of Mockingjay and had faded out at the end after his considerably larger role in the book as well as subplots like his love for Katniss had seemingly been forgotten after the rebellion and Prim. Peeta was (to me) not given enough focus in this book, unlike the others, as though he were not a main character after his capture by the Capitol. It would have added to the reminiscent and thoughtful ending to have mentioned the pearl Peeta gave to Katniss in the 75th Hunger Games of which was mentioned several times but was also forgotten towards the end... sorry to be nit-picky haha. Suzanne Collins has proven she can stand out and away from the oh so stereotypical "teen novel" with gripping and sometimes tear jerking chapters that keep the reader desperate to know what happens next. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend not only this book but the whole series because although some may assume it is a teens book, the ideology behind it is something that could be reflected in societies like ours today; what some will do to gain power. I hope others have enjoyed this series like I have and the films are somewhere near as good as the books.
