Reviews: Mindhunter (7)
“Brillant”
(Paperback)
Quite simply one of the most engaging, interesting and thought provoking books I have ever read. If you are interested in the psychology and nitty gritty of serial killers, buy this book. John Douglas brillantly outlines his professional career and the work of the FBI Behavioural Science Unit, to bring to life how serial killers can be profiled and (hopefully) caught. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
“Hooked”
(Paperback)
After finishing Mindhunter on Netflix, I decided to dig into the source of the material and I was not at all disappointed.
It is absolutely fascinating being able to get this insider view from such a talented mind and seeing how he approaches an investigation and how he sets up an interrogation scene.
I can't recommend this book highly enough. It is around 400 pages and I really wish there was more to it.
“Brilliant.”
(Paperback)
Without a doubt, this is one of the most fascinating books I have ever read.
“Brilliant”
(Paperback)
I watched the Netflix series recently and I really enjoyed, but the book is a lot more in-depth and a really fun read for such a serious topic as ‘what makes a serial killer’. Well worth the read!
“Brilliant”
(Paperback)
As I am a huge fan or crime and especially true crime I thought that 'Mindhunter' was a superb read.
What a very clever and extremely talented man. An extremely gripping book that you wont be able to put down. Definitely a well researched book.
