Reviews: Maximum Ride (7)
“Maximum Ride”
(Paperback)
Another fantastic captivating read by a truly spell binding author I read the book from start to finish within a day as i did with The Angel Experiment, School's Out Forever and Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports. Each being a book I couldn't put down and just had to keep reading chapter after chapter. I am a great fan of this author and his books and I have recommended many friends read them also.

A brilliant book, I want to read it again and again! I would recomend reading the rest of the maximum ride series before, or you will not enjoy the book to its full. I really suggest to read it!
“Can't Wait For The Next One :D”
(CD-Audio)
As soon as I got this book I just had to read it, I read it in just under three hours, loving every single moment of it. Throughout the book there wasn't one bit where I even dared to put the book down, the story is so captivating the whole way through. I think that the story line for the book was really good but that there could have been more to it and just a bit more detail.
No spoilers but there is some action with a bit of romance too, I was a bit unsure about reading this because of the ending of the last one, and I wasn't sure if I wanted to see how the whole Max/Fang thing worked out but I was surprised- in a good way- about the way the story played out. There were some bits I didn't like but not so much that I stopped reading.
There are some new characters in this, they don't really play big parts in the actual story but they do help it to come together. Some characters you don't really see much of but are still there, I would have liked it if a couple of them had a more significant role in it all. Like the other books some of it is a bit childish, not really what the age group it was written for is interested in, it might be a fantasy but some of it is just a bit O.T.T.
It's a shaky journey for Max and you really get to see how much she has matured throughout the whole series, she learns to swallow her pride and to control herself more- but she's still Max. The ending was quite sad, I was almost crying at bits of it, the only flaw about it would be that it happened too fast and seemed rushed. The story is really captivating and has all of your attention right from the start; I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

“Maximum Ride”
(Paperback)
Although still very good, i didn't find it as exciting and thrilling as the first three. It takes a while to get started, unlike the other books in the series. Having said that, it's still extremelly funny and well worth a read if your a fan of the series. Very emotional and with characters you grow to care about, it's also a vivid warning for the effects of global warming.
