Reviews: Maximum Ride (7)
“Maximum Ride”
(Paperback)
by Mollie
I loved the first three maximum ride books, but I was really disapointed with this book. There was no hidden twists and turns and suprise outcomes, or the suspence which left you wondering what was going to happen next. Instead of saving the mutant freak kids it was saving the polar bears! Now I'm all for saving the enironment, I myself try hard not to damage our beloved earth, but I really don't think Max would do to great lengths to save the world by recycling cardboard do you? Please James Patterson, if you are reading this, get off the eco- friendly root and get back to Max and the flock beating up Eraser scientist's.

Although this book was better than 'the final warning', I still wasn't very impressed. I loved the first three maximum rides, but at the moment the books are going down hill. There are no longer any hidden twists or turns and cliff hangers which leave the reader guessing about what will happen next. Max and the gang need to leap of the saving the environment route and head on back to fighting Erasers and saving mutant freak kids!
