Reviews: Max Einstein: The Genius Experiment (3)
“Excellent”

A really enjoyable and educational book, I loved the characters and the sense of adventure. Perfectly balanced writing with gorgeous illustrations. The educational side of things is written clearly and simply, without any talking down or condescension - the theory of relativity in less than a page made perfect sense, Fingers crossed that this gets the attention that it deserves - a fabulous role model for all children.
“Einstein for the Win”

A female hero, the young taking charge and saving the world, and it encourages science, what's not to like?! I admit I was excited the moment I heard this book was coming out. I was not disappointed. Max Einstein herself is a fantastic and amazingly compassionate lead character, but I love that the other characters in the book come from all over the world and show that you don't have to be old, white and from a first world country to be smart and change the world. This book will encourage any young scientist, not to mention how educational it is simply as an aside in the narrative. I learned a lot of things about Einstein that I never knew.

A fabulously witty tale of danger, science and extraordinary genius children including the young orphan Maxine Einstein who ADORES her hero Albert Einstein. The plot is action packed with a cast of dastardly villains and heroic good guys, however what I enjoyed most was the inclusion of so much accurate scientific knowledge. Not just Einsteins theories but a multitude of other fields from Astronomy to Quantum physics and Engineering. A sure fire way to inspire a new generation of scientists with a 'can do' attitude. Max as a protagonists really captures of the heart of the meaningful messages this book tries to portray, tackling real life problems with real life solutions.
