Magic is the thread that holds this anthology together, from the stage variety to the more mystic. These new stories have been gathered from an outstanding range of writers from Audrey Niffenegger to Will Hill. My particular favourites being the political intrigue of Dan Abnett’s “Party Tricks” and Gail Z Martin’s “Buttons” that follows a hunt for bad spirits through buttons. Some of the stories are quite disturbing, but on the whole a ‘magical’ read.
