A fantastic story of children, centuries apart but with the same problems. This story deals with childhood trauma, bullying, being orphaned, healing and reaching happiness, as the two characters make friends and tell their stories. Based around the Coram foundling school in london, Morpurgo explores the past alongside some very famous historic faces. THis is a wonderful story to be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
