An excellent murder mystery novel that skips a lot an extremely quick pace but not too quick as to lose you.The chapters are in the style of James Patterson short but full of information and making you turn to the next chapter to see what happens next. As for the story it is based in the 1950s with flashbacks to earlier times to get the background story and an understanding of the main characters, the setting is based in a Northern England mill town, the characters are extremely well written any can instantly and easily form a picture of them and you feel as if you know them.The tale is set around the title character Lizzie Steeples and her struggle with an abusive husband and Mill boss which leads to rape and murder,there are twists and turns on every page and a very inventive way of catching the killer one I haven't previously come across. Fans of this genre of book should love this ,it only took me 2 days to read this book.I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
