Absolutely love the special edition of this book. The pictures are gorgeous, the artwork is phenomenal. Definitely worth it getting these!

I loved the characters and felt close to the narrative , an incredible world has been built by the author and the story intensified with the love interests ! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves fantasy and romance !

I was sent this from the publisher in return for an honest review. Lightlark is said to be similar to the Hunger Games, with five rulers competing in a battle to the death to save their realms. This however, does not do the book justice. The dark fantasy, magic, twists and turns, are make this book a soon to be YA classic- reminiscent of the Divergent/ The Maze Runner era. This book has elements anyone who likes to read fantasy will be sure to love. Ilsa, the books protagonist, is more than a hollow ‘strong female character’- she has depth and flaws. Her worries, desires, and dreams, make her a deeply interesting character. Whilst Grim, the dark brooding leader, steals every scene he is in. I was enthralled with every page, wanting to keep reading, whilst never wanting the book to end! I need a whole Lightlark series now!
