Wow! There really aren't words to describe how awsome this series of books are, although not for the faint hearted (or the under 14s) as there is some gory moments. All I can say is if you haven't read them yet, please make them the next thing you read! I am sure you will be blown away by the sheer amazing world Michael Grant has created in the FAYZ. I never wanted this series to end but Light really does the series justice so I can't complain and now I get to enjoy rereading the series from the start!

Read it in 1 and half days could not but it down and ties everything up nicely best out of all books by far loved it a must read, makes you also understand why the other books are so long.

Light is the thrilling, occasionally brutal, conclusion to Michael Grant’s excellent teen science fiction/dystopian Gone series. Following the events of the previous book, the dome around the FAYZ has become transparent and allowed for limited contact with the outside world. While some of those trapped inside are thrilled to be able to reconnect with loved ones, others are wary of how outsiders will perceive their preternatural powers. Unfortunately for Sam and Astrid, while attention is focused on the world outside the dome, darkness is growing stronger within the FAYZ and a danger that threatens to destroy the society that they have created is building. Light is a great, tense ending to this compelling series; there is plenty of action, danger and supernatural goings-on as the different factions with the FAYZ fight for ultimate dominance.

I have never read a book so thrilling. Heart-stopping. Emotional. Every chapter, every paragraph, every page, every sentence and every word hit me such emphasis if I was reading standing up I would have fell. The force that Michael Grant puts into his writing in phenomenal. You are left stunned and shell shocked. I you've read all five books then I suggest when you get this book you take a deep breath and prepare for tears, laughter and sorrow. I finished the book at 11.00pm yesterday and it breaks my heart that my journey with the Gone series is over. If you haven't begun yours yet I suggest- NO- I'm telling you to do so because you don't know what your missing! And to those about to read light... You will be in this position with in no time... Just try not to get to emotional. Bye FAYZ....

This was the perfect finish to one of my favourite series. All of the characters get a definite ending with out loose ends. I would recommend reading the entire series just for the final battle. :)
