Reviews: Light Science and Magic (1)
“A Must-Have Reference”
(Paperback)
This is a quality soft backed book that is an excellent teaching/reference work for photographers. It tackles the theory of lighting in easy to understand language and then covers practical application for photographing various subjects, which makes it suitable from beginner upwards. The authors don't give 'do it this way' solutions but rather equip the reader with the knowledge and tools to tackle various situations that photographers come across. And for me, that is its strength. It provides a solid foundation which you build on with experience.
If you are a photographer interested in lighting (and if you are a photographer you should be!) then this book is a must. Well worth the money.
