“And the secret of Methuselah”
(Hardback)
by P.H. Maddie
Every person wants to live a long and healthy life. One in which to be able to enjoy the small moments of serendipity, independent and powerful to maximise them. This book, supported by many years of genetical and clinical studies, brings to the table a series of habits and daily routines we should encompass as minutely and as disciplined as possible. The hope that the author instills during the pages of the book is one of solid ground, based on certain ideas of correct living, and it has the capacity of "infecting" the reader with the spark of initiative and change in one's life. The style of writing is simple and friendly, not being hindered by strict medical terms, sympathising in certain ways with the lay mind. The information doesn't hoard the thoughts and is very well synthesised throughout the chapters of the book. It is a reading that can ease the concern of ageing and can empower oneself about its' own destiny!
