Reviews: Liberation (2)
“I loved it, but I hated it too”
(Hardback)
by Dawn Lewis
"Liberation" is thoroughly gripping from the very first page. It's heartbreaking and it's inspirational. It's a story of war, of fear and courage, of love and friendship. The fact that Nancy Wake was a real person whose deeds formed the basis for this dramatisation is astonishing. This is a very well-written, emotion-filled journey through World War II. I loved it, but I hated it too - you need to read this book to understand why. My thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for an advance copy to review. This review is entirely my own, unbiased, opinion.
