Graphic novel cookbooks are a joy I didn’t know I needed! I’m a big fan of the graphic novel format and I love bread so as soon as I saw this, I got very excited. Bread making can be very intimidating with all the many steps required to produce a freshly baked loaf. This often means a long list of steps in a recipe book, and I, as a very visual learner, can struggle to piece it all together. This, however, presents every step you’ll need to produce your own bread with different techniques and recipes, and every step is accompanied by Sarah Becan’s wonderful illustrations. It’s truly such a fun way to introduce people to bread making and make what to many is a fine art accessible. I can’t wait to start kneading and bake some loaves for myself.
