This is a great read...... It's not hard to follow and is compellingly interesting. I got this book out of a library and wasn't expecting to be as good as it was. I thought it was going to be just your average teen read but its not at all. This book made me cry, Isabel is messed up emotionally. Sarra manning is a good author i have read several other books of hers. Nadeen Renney .x

Wow I absolutely loved this book. LOVED. I had nothing to do in lessons so i went and grabbed any old book that caught my eye. im sooo happy i did. This book is about a Girl Named Isabelle who is a very complex character, she knows how the system works and can turn that to her advantage. She has everything figured out. Until she meets Smith. He can see straight through her and is like a mirror, showing Is what shes really like. I didnt think i would like this book at all but i really did and I STRONGLY recommend this!!!

I loved this book so much. It was so addicting and I just couldn't keep it out of my sight! I would reccomend this book. The characters are brilliant and hooking and the story line is amazing. I've never read a book as good as this one. I am in love with Sarah Manning's books.
“Ok, but not her best.”

Bought this after reading and loving "Guitar Girl". However, was a bit disappointed.
To be fair, it was gritty and bits of it were incredibly emotional.
However the main character, although most of the time was putting on an act, was not likeable which ruined it a bit for me, as you almost felt as though she deserved what she got at times. Although the dramatic aspects were well written, some seemed slightly unbelievable.
All in all, bits were good. But the majority of the book, for me, was not her best by far. Also, wouldn't recommend it to young readers, due to some of the content.
