“Lester Square”
(Multiple items)
Lester Square is a friendly, thought-provoking tale that has entertained the kids and kept the adults on their toes. A great sense of humour with an eye for off-beat observations pervades the story which is complimented by cute illustrations mixing natural looking computer graphics and real imagery, creating a fantasy world that is easy to delve into. The writing is clear and simple, whilst at the same time containing clever little twists without losing sight of the main thread. The songs which come on the audio CD accompanying the book are great poppy sing-a-longs and a chirpy bonus. Much recommended - Lester Square creates an interesting storyline that has a lot of room to develop - hope there's more to come.
