Krieg - explains in a series of trips into the past, the history of the enigmatic siege specialist of the Astra Militarum of the Imperium of Man. The interaction between the Death Korps of Krieg and others is well written and observed, as the the differing attitude between an Inquisitor, of Ordo Hereticus and his Interrogator towards the Korpsmen. Although it does fill some background to the Death Korps, and leaves enough for educated guesses, there are still questions about the Korps and that of the Death World they call Home that will keep people guessing.
